There are two functional blocks within the Industrial Module.
The first functional block is the alarm monitoring of the machines that are supervised by the HiperPBX module.
The second functional block is for handling digital outputs to relay through extensions of the HiperPBX System.
Alarm Monitoring
The alarm monitoring can be done directly or indirectly
In the case of direct monitoring of alarms, the HiperPBX System communicates with the PLC or local control system of the machine via Ethernet using MODBUS TCP or SNMP protocols
In the case of indirect monitoring alarms, the HiperPBX System communicates with digital inputs/outputs converters to ethernet using SNMP, MODBUS TCP. The converters check the digital outputs of the PLC or the control system of the machine
In both cases, whenever an alarm is detected, the HiperPBX module can send an email, sms and / or make a phone call with an announcement to the supervisor of the industrial area where belongs the machine.
Relay Digital outputs
An extension number of HiperPBX is associated to a digital relay output
Each time the particular extension number is dialed, the associated digital output can be activated in 3 ways:
Power On: The output is set permanently
Power Off: The output will be disabled permanently
Reset: Output will activate for a programmed time and then turns off automatically.
